Clissold Centre of Excellence is based on the Stoke Newington School site and has been running as a youth service provider since 1970.

There are numerous P.E. activities, some of which lead to accredited awards. As well as the programmed sessions, we also run projects on themes suggested by young people e.g. sexual health sessions, discussions on gun crime and a video project to discuss what young people think of Hackney.

On a Wednesday from 5.30pm – 8.30pm there is a music session, which includes opportunities for young people to try out their talents in Dj’ing, MC’ing and lyric writing. There is also an opportunity to learn how to mix.

We have an excellent social area, where members can play pool, play station and buy food and drinks from the canteen.
